If you supplied us with your email address when entering your payment details or at registration, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm that we have received your order.
All products that you order through the Website will remain the property of Ghana Foods Limited until we have received payment in full from you for those products.
How we handle your payments
All prices are displayed in pounds Sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
During the checkout process, we will ask you to complete your payment details. You must complete all fields indicated as compulsory.
Your payment will be handled by our nominated card processing company, for the processing of your debit, maestro or credit card payments. We may transfer you to the appropriate website at checkout where your payment will be processed securely.
All payments for goods and services must be made with your own debit or credit card ensuring that you have adequate funds available in the account to cover your purchase. Any fraudulent use of debit or credit card will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer. Payment for goods and services will only be deducted from your account at the point of dispatch of your order.
If we do not receive your payment and you have already received your product(s), you must pay for the product(s) or return the product(s) you have received in the same condition and at your own cost within 30 days of the cancellation of your order. If you do not do this within 30 days of the date on which we cancelled your order, we may collect or arrange for collection of the product(s) at your expense. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage to the product(s).
We aim to make most deliveries between 2-7 working days after we receive your order. We will deliver your order according to the details shown in our delivery policy and subject to stock availability. We can offer “Next Weekday Delivery” on most of our stock items provided we have the items in stock and you place your order by 11a.m.
We will send you an e-mail notification to confirm the delivery details so that you can arrange to receive the order. For most orders, we will require a signature from you or your representative at the point of delivery.
Returns and Refunds
We will dispatch all products to you after we have completed a thorough in-house product quality check as far as the packaging permits. In the unlikely event, that an item reaches you in an unsatisfactory condition you may return the goods to us but please first contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours days of receiving your goods to inform us of your intention to return. Once we receive the items, we will make a full return of your payment for the product.
For Health and Safety reasons, we are unable to accept the return of any food products that have been opened. You can however return or exchange these products in accordance with your legal rights under the Distance Selling Regulations or other legislation.
Our returns policy does not affect your legal rights under the Distance Selling Regulations or other legislation.
All items must be returned in their original packaging up opened and unused. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage in transit to any products that you choose to return to us. We reserve the right to charge you for any such loss or damage.
